11. Visit a Charming Japanese Village

12. Dine at a Fine Japanese Sushi Restaurant

There's a big difference between western and Japanese sushi. Experiencing quality Japanese sushi is highly recommended. Keep in mind that there's a huge difference between cheap and expensive sushi. Once you try the good stuff you'll never want to go back.

16. Enjoy a Kabuki Performance

Kabuki is traditional Japanese theatre. Kabuki incorporates dance into performances. It's known for its elaborate costumes and makeup. All roles (male and female) are played by male actors. Although it's unlikely you'll understand the performance completely — it's a recommended cultural experience.
