2005 Tokyo Fashion Report

The theme of the 2005 Tokyo Fashion Report is the style of the generations. Japanese kids, teens and adults: what are people wearing in the city?

Kids in Kimono. Kids wear kimono for New Years, weddings and special holidays like the celebration for 3,5, and 7 year olds.

Many teens dress in unique styles on the weekends to escape the tedium of their school uniforms. Here are some examples of Decora fashions. Decora fashion is colorful with lots of cute accessories.

During university most Japanese experience a new level of freedom and many people experiment with fashion. In a few years, most of these young adults will be working in offices and will have little fashion freedom.
