2008 Asakusa Samba Carnival

posted by Midori, Japan Talk, October 28, 2011

The Asakusa Samba Carnival is probably Tokyo's most lively summer festival.

It celebrates the close connections between Japanese and Brazilian culture.

I like to read manga and I like to draw. I would love to talk to anyone who call tell me more about the Japanese culture and language. I would also like to learn about everyday things that students do in school and after school. I already know a little Japanese but I would like to learn more.I would love to hear from you!-Gillian

I am looking for someone to exchange languages and culture. I am more than willing to teach English in exchange for learning Japanese. I can't read much kanji or kana right now, but I am learning. I can however work out some romaji. I would like to visit Japan someday and would like to be able to speak clearly.
