The 2009 Harajuku Omotesando Super Yosakoi featured around 3,000 dancers belonging to dozens of dance troupes from as far away as Shikoku Island.

It would be hard to think of a better place for a festival than the Omotesando/Harajuku area. The festival takes place at 5 different locations including Omotesando Avenue — a wide tree-lined boulevard that's often compared to the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
