Gaienmae

Gaienmae is an upscale office, shopping and residential neighborhood sandwiched between fashionable Omotesando and Aoyama-Itchome.

Gaienmae is a fashion district. Many prominent Japanese brands and designers have offices in the area. It's not unusual to see a fashion shoot in the area.

Gaienmae has interesting architecture.

The Oracle Aoyama Center is the largest building in the area. It's known for its pet dog and rooftop (24th floor) Japanese tea house.

The area is best known for the posh avenue Icho Namiki (銀杏並木) and Meiji Jingu Gaien gardens.
