Hey! My name's Tim, I'm 17 and I'm very interested in Japan. I like watching anime/manga comics and my friend and I are trying to make our own. I like reading a lot and I like playing video games. I play the cello and the bass guitar and my favourite genre is rock music. I'm looking for a person (or people) who I can talk to, who live in Japan, and who can also maybe teach me the basics of the language. My name is Irene and Im a universitystudent studying to be a language teacher for high school students majoring in english and japanese.Or at least that is my plan so far but Ill go wherever life takes me :)Next semester Im planning to study japanese in Japan (Okazaki) and now Im looking for people who are interested in cultural exchange and whod like to share knowledge and information on japanese life. Im not completely otaku but I love naruto and in Sweden japanese youth culture is becoming really popular with j-pop, j-rock, hello kitty, lolita fashion, dir en grey, anime, manga, you name it..Cooking is not completely true since Im useless in the kitchen. But I can make onigiri that tastes like rubber if someone fancys that (^^)Also I like bodymodification. I understand tattoos are not as common among people in Japan as in Sweden.
