Japan Information Girls

posted by John Spacey, Japan Talk, March 02, 2012

Japan has plenty of information booths: airports, train stations, department stores and resorts all have information desks. Information desks are always staffed with young ladies dressed in classic uniforms.

In many cases, information desk ladies can't speak English. There are more Asian tourists to Japan than tourists from Europe or North America. Information desk ladies are just as likely to speak Korean or Chinese as English.

Konnichiwa! My name is John and I am 23 years old. I live in Yokosuka, Japan. I have lived in Japan for 3 years. I recently started to study the language, and would like native speaker, male or female, to help answer my questions about sentence structure, conjugations, particles....ect. Anyways, I will help you with any English questions that you have. I can help you with slang, or any other "advanced" questions you have about English. Peace and Love,John
