Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower

Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower is the 2nd tallest educational building in the World.

Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower

Located in the heart of the Shinjuku West business district the tower houses three schools: Tokyo Mode Gakuen (fashion college), HAL Tokyo (IT college) and Shuto Ikō (medical college).

Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower is 50 Stories tall (204 meters ~ 669 feet). The design was chosen after an extensive open bidding process. A total of 150 proposals by more than 50 architects were judged. The winning design concept (Tange Associates) was a "cocoon that nurtures the students within".
