Urban Snow Daredevils

posted by John Spacey, Japan Talk, March 24, 2012

When you depend on a bicycle for daily transportation it's hard to give it up. Rain sleet or snow: it's a go. From Tokyo to Sapporo: it's fairly common to see people in Japan braving the snow on a mama chari.

It's a little depressing to find your bicycle buried in snow in the morning.
