Favorite Japanese Artists/Bands & Recommendations

My favorite Japanese artists are Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Kumi Koda ( just started listening to her). I also need recommendations of other Japnese artists, like some bands, j-rock artists, and r&b artists.

My pick is...

Myv (miyavi), he does a little of everything rock, rap, pop and even the blues (selfish love is my favorite can find it on youtube but not itunes).
He is in a group called S.K.I.N. now where he plays the guitar. (known for his guitar playing). S.K.I.N. consist of other people from various japanese bands like Myv is from Due le Quartz and Sugizo from Luna Sea (which is a good group), and Gackt and Yoshiki all talented.
Myv also sings in English and I think his has a spanish song too. He goes overseas too.
Hope this helps

good bands

X Japan are gods)
I love Malice Mizer, but they will sound weird for someone who likes normal rock or pop Music. Gackt's got a good voice, Kagrra is a funny combination of traditional Japanese Music and rock. At the moment Versailles are also very populair)) But next to those names that i have posted here there are many of other good Japanese bands)
