Sure I'll answer
1. I like Japanese & Manga cause U can do so many things with them. U can make the coolest looking ppl. & make the funniest faces.
2. Im not sure what the difference is.
3.Otaku is being obsessive over Anime & Manga. *& other stuff*
4. In America they sometimes try 2 change some of the original Japanese Anime or Manga book or show 2 make it less violent or sexual which I think really sucks. PPl over hear R way 2 sensitive when it comes 2 that. American person: "Oh no I saw her panties"
Japanese Person: "So?"
I like that Japanese ppl can put their anime/manga ppl in really short skirts & not think of it sexually. Its just a cute short skirt. Longer skirts don't convay cutness as much as a short skirt does.

Answer
1.Why do you like Japanese anime or manga?
A. Because I (with exceptions to some) dislike North American cartoons, as I find most unfunny, they use cheap humor and I consider the art styles used in most are absolute crap.
Now with anime and manga, it is 'art'. Most anime's and manga's have the human body parts at a respectable ratio, the styles used are usually very interesting and stick out. There is actually a story to be told, and they develop on more than one character's perceptive.
----------------------------------------------------------
2. What is the difference of your country's anime and Japanese anime?
A. Canadian anime is well...somewhat good I guess (I do not even know if we have any) as our media guidelines are not to strict...
But they always lean in favor to the kids, as if all shows involving animation are meant for kids. Toilet humor is usually used, and the characters eyes are stereotypically always HUGE! Where as in Japanese anime the characters eye size differ from artist to artist.
----------------------------------------------------------
3. What is the Otaku you think?
A. Well now that I checked wikipedia, basically obsessive compulsive disorder involving collection of anime, manga, figures, and video games.
----------------------------------------------------------
4. I think that regulation in foreign countries is severer than in Japan.(for example, sexually or violent) How do you think about it?
A. I agree, here in North America were afraid from showing our adolescence and youth violence, nudity and swearing, basically typical human behavior, like seriously wtf? In all fairness though were just overprotecting them. And our media system, and translators just don't seem to realize that manga and anime are suppose to have violence, swearing and all the other good stuff kept with it in the translation. It brings emotion to the story, but sadly yes it is lost in North American translation.
---------------------------------------------------------
If some people reply it, I'm very very glad!
I'm sorry in my clumsy English.
A. No problem, English is one of the hardest languages to learn as many words have double/triple meanings and there is a lot of slang.

My Answer
1&2. In most cases the graphics are way better in both anime and manga and I've compared some of the story plots found in other mangas and their found the Japanese one simply better.
3. To be obsessed with anime or manga is fine just ask my friend but taking it to unheathly level as keeping your self lock up with 24/7
4. I find that it depends on where you look if you go on mangafox you can find anything and in the anime it depends on who's the target audience it is for the bulk of the anime and the type of humour used.
Finally about the English don't worry the girls I go to school with have been learning English all their lives and your still better at it than them

With Pleasure
1. Japanese anime and manga are not restricted to younger children, seeing as it caters for an older audience as well, whereas animation is generally aimed at younger viewers. Overall, I would say that I like the mannerisms in Japanese anime and manga that are unique such as certain ways to express emotion.
2. I am not familiar with South African animation, in fact I'm not sure if we even have our own animation studio's, seeing as most prime time viewing spots are taken by foreign animation.
3. An Otaku is someone obsessed with anime and/or manga to such an extent that they try to monopolize as much merchandise or information pertaining to it as they possibly can.
4. I agree, because I have seen the difference between the cut and uncut versions of DBZ and various other dubbed anime. The original almost always contains more violence (for example blood...) or bad language, and the same goes for the sexual innuendo's, but I believe that all of the above forms such an integral part of the storyline sometimes that removing it is detrimental to the essence of the story in the end...
I also believe (please correct me if I am wrong) that anime and manga have age appropraite content for the target age group and therefore warns against unnapropriate content where younger ages are concerned.
Basically, I like the raw Japanese versions of anime much better than the cut ones. ^_^
DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Soul Eater, Vampire Knight and many other action anime's would be unrealistic and therefore 'lame' if for example the blood was completely removed (as they did with the dub of DBZ).
Wow, that was a mouth full! Hope that helps!

Well
1. Because its entertaining.. better than American cartoons.
2. Well.. its horribly made.. i don't know if we have anime..i would say ours are cartoons..They really dont have anything to do with Human lifestyle like anime does.. But ours is not good..
3. Someone totally obsessed? i am totally not!!!
4.Ya.. But it makes it better, not saying violence is good or anything..But there is alot of violence in this world.. so it makes it more realistic.. where i am from is America.. so i would say the cartoons are not really realistic and get boring Manga/Anime has more suspense. =D
There is a lot of sexual explicit manga/Anime though I'm not to put on that kinda stuff..
Well i hope that helps! Those where good questions though..=D

My answer :D
1. Seems like people try harder to make anime and manga more enjoying then the american anime and manga.
2. Japanese anime is for one awesome XD, seriously though....American Anime is divided into two groups, you have the group rated G and the group rated R.....Although for Japanese Anime and Manga it is cut up into LOTS of groups :D
3. XD just reading what people put is funny but Otaku means Your Home, Your Family....Your residence....
4. All I have to say is it is "4Kids" fault...XD

My answer
1.It help me to escape the problems in the real world.
2.Our cartoons are gay and whack. The days of great cartoons like Spider-man and G.I Joe are long over.Your cartoons on the other hand is more entertaining.Plus sometimes I feel like that I am part of the cartoon.
3.Otaku sounds like food.
4.Let face it,in America kids are brain-dead.They can't tell fiction from reality.I for one used to be one of those kids.Since I had little friends,I would "talk" to the characters I see.

my answer
1. Why do you like Japanese anime or manga?
-The theme. I like the story a lot since most of the anime/manga has unique and interesting theme.
2. What is the difference of your country's anime and Japanese anime?
-From technology perspective, Japanese is better. Japanese anime has unique theme and is better in drawing / artistic field
3. What is the Otaku you think?
-Nowadays otaku contains negative meaning. People who are really addicted to anime/manga and not sociable are called otaku. From what I heard, actually otaku is used to call all people who are fond of something / certain things, not particulary anime/manga. However, since a lot of people loving anime/manga are seen as unsociable people which have different attitude / agains the norm (such as generation of NEET, etc), so the meaning of otaku changes from positve to negative.
4. I think that regulation in foreign countries is severer than in Japan.(for example, sexually or violent) How do you think about it?
-About regulation particulary cencorship, it depens on each country. Each country has different culture and point of view in receiving other countries' culture. For example, in Malaysia and Indonesia, most of people are Muslim which have strong rules against sex and violence so the government sets strong standard in receiving and censoring all those media. However, the regulation of internet is very weak so people can still download manga/anime or buy pirate dvd/manga

in italy
1. i hv been always into anime, manga bcoz i like drawing, above all comics and reading japanese kind of comics.
2. well i live in japan so i can tell you the differences. first of all anime are imported to make enjoy time to children. like dragon ball or naruto. no serious anime, no violent ones, no hentai. if some of the imported ones has any inapropriate scene they cut. when there is the red blood they cancel the blood , i mean...they try to hide some disturbing scenes. for this most of italian guys into japanese animation use internet to watch their fav anime.
3. otaku...excessive behaviour from guys really really really into anime, manga, games, movies (ext)stuff. maybe they spend more time with their stuff than live the life.
4. see the answer 2 lol
